A-Plant invests £3.2m in Genquip huts

24 Apr 15 A-Plant has placed one of its largest ever orders for static and mobile welfare units.

The company has invested 拢3.2m in accommodation units manufactured by Genquip.

A further 拢8m will also will be invested in A-Plant鈥檚 accommodation fleet over the next 12 months, the company said.

The Genquip order is for more than 100 Groundhog mobile welfare units, which are light enough to be towed to site and can accommodate up to six people.

The order also comprises a number of 12-volt mobile site accommodation units, which use less fuel, and static ECO welfare units with full flush toilets, double glazing and extra insulation.

A-Plant director of accommodation Ian Needham said: 鈥淕enquip units are highly innovative and industry-leading and they will no doubt serve our customers very well. Our customers are demanding products that offer benefits in terms of sustainability and these units offer a multitude of energy and water saving features.鈥

A-Plant Accommodation has a hire fleet of more than 16,000 units, from a single cabin to fully-linked site complexes.
