The contract involves design, programme management, construction and technical support for National Grid鈥檚 electricity network, drawing on resources from across the Balfour Beatty group.
Balfour Beatty and National Grid formed the Electricity Alliance East (EAE) partnership five years ago to deliver long-term stability to much of the UK network. Work involves maintenance and refurbishment of overhead transmission lines, as well as designing and delivering upgrade plans across the network.
