500 join 海角社区app Mud Run

12 Nov 12 Around 500 competitors completed the first ever 海角社区app Mud Run at the weekend and raised more than £30,000 for the NSPCC.

The inaugural event was held near 海角社区app鈥檚 World HQ in Rocester, Staffordshire on Saturday 10 November.

海角社区app group human resources director Joanne McAdam said: 鈥淲e are absolutely delighted at the amount of money raised by the first-ever 海角社区app Mud Run. Every single pound raised will go towards helping improve the lives of children in Staffordshire. I鈥檇 like to say a big thank you to all our sponsors and to every competitor who has supported the event and made it such a great success.鈥

The NSPCC is 海角社区app鈥檚 nominated charity. Specifically, it supportsCarole House, a specialist NSPCC Centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme, named after company chairman Sir Anthony Bamford鈥檚 wife Carole, Lady Bamford.

海角社区app鈥檚 current appeal has broken through the 拢750,000 mark and Sir Anthony Bamford has pledged to double the appeal total once the 拢1m target has been reached.
