The 拢100m project 鈥� on behalf of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) 鈥� will grow capacity at the barracks from 500 to 2,000 personnel, to accommodate two new signal regiments returning from Germany. Various new buildings will be constructed, including offices, workshops, living quarters and ancillary facilities.
NG Bailey will deliver a full design and installation solution. Led by its engineering division, the company will also use its offsite manufacture division to help in the design and installation of prefabricated plant rooms, skid mounts and pipework and containment modules. The contractor鈥檚 IT services arm will bring in a specialist communications information system (CIS) to improve the barracks鈥� IT infrastructure.
