Position: Resident Liaison Officer
Location: Rushden (Council Flats)
Duration: Until the end of February
Start Date: Immediate
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Resident Liaison Officer to join our team for an important project working in council flats in Rushden. This is a short-term role with the opportunity to work until the end of February, helping to facilitate communication between residents and the project team during ongoing works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for residents in the council flats, addressing their queries, concerns, and providing support throughout the project.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively between residents and contractors to ensure minimal disruption during the works.
- Organise and attend resident meetings to provide updates on the progress of the project, including any potential disruptions or changes.
- Ensure residents are kept informed of any works that may impact them, including access to their flats, noise levels, and work schedules.
- Provide support and guidance to residents regarding any relocation, temporary accommodation, or access arrangements.
- Ensure that all concerns and complaints are dealt with promptly and professionally.
- Liaise with the project management team, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer or in a similar customer-facing role, preferably within social housing or construction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with residents in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Knowledge of social housing policies and procedures is desirable.
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach to any challenges that may arise.
Working Hours:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
