This development is comprised of 171 units in Woodside Avenue, London, for which the Swann team was responsible for providing the structural steelwork and the architectural metalwork.
The structural works included structural steel frames to form the roof support for the new apartment buildings. The architectural works included stairwell balustrade work, terrace balustrades and all balustrade and fascia to the balconies. The balcony work included 90 structural balconies, 150 glazed Juliette balconies and 50 steel Juliette balconies – all of which were fabricated and installed by the Structural & Architectural Steelwork team.
The roof level works were installed using a crane, with additional Cherry Pickers, Genie Lifts, Towers and Podiums all being fully utilised to aid the installation.
The structural works alone comprised of 350 tonnes of structural steel, with all elements designed, fabricated and installed by Swann Engineering Group Ltd.
We are now working on additional projects with the same commercial team that procured this development.
