All elements of the project were designed, detailed and fabricated at the Swann manufacturing facilities in Braintree, Essex. The Swann site teams used a Hiab and cherry pickers in tandem to install the stack balcony frames and balustrade that had a half glass end panel as a feature.
There were several structural steel elements installed within the apartment blocks to support the concrete floors. These were lifted into position with the use of the site crane and installed by the experienced Swann fitting teams. Goal posts (used in the terraced houses), genie hoists and scaffold were used for installation.
Mark Crozier, Structural and Architectural Steelwork Director, said “I am delighted with the outcome of this project. We worked closely with our Client from the initial conception through to completion and this project showcases our quality, attention to detail and ability to be a single source solution for structural and architectural steelwork. Well done to all involved.”
