The works consisted of stack balconies, cladded entrance canopies, railings, gates and aluminium capping. All the elements were designed, detailed and fabricated in our factory in Braintree, Essex.
The Swann site teams used cranes and cherry pickers in tandem to install the balcony frames which weighed 55 tonnes alone.
The balcony balustrades were very intricate with a makeup of glass panels with a 30% grey tint and the metal balustrade was cloaked in composite wood strips and finished with a stainless-steel handrail. Timber decking was also part of our package.
Mark Crozier, Structural and Architectural Steelwork Director, said “We are delighted to complete another supply and installation project. This adds to our growing portfolio and showcases the capability of the Structural and Architectural Steelwork team. Well done to all involved”.
