ABAX continues its carbon-neutral journey by expanding the scope
ABAX strive to be 100% carbon neutral by the end of 2022 and will continue their neutrality journey throughout the year by adding the remaining upstream and downstream scope 3 emissions that their value chain impacts.
"All companies should scrutinise how their business impacts the world, and this is more important in 2022 than ever before in the history of humanity," says Bruce Atle Karlsen, Chief Performance Officer ABAX.

SaaS contributes to saving the world
Sustainability is incorporated in ABAX's core business strategy and the development is giving results in new services like ABAX Smart Connect. With the new service, ABAX has decoupled emissions from growth, launching an innovation that is a first in its industry, and enabled by ISO standards, which has removed the need for third-party hardware. Smart Connect is the next generation of telematics, and ABAX is a first-mover in the race to a low carbon future.
ABAX' concurrent projects for sustainability
ABAX is doing multiple projects in developing its corporate social responsibility (CSR) - one such initiative is to plant one tree for every asset connected to their global network. Each tree symbolises the drive to make its 44,000 customers more sustainable with telematics tools. The ‘one year longer’ challenge is yet another initiative that will drive this thinking across industries that use telematics for sustainable fleet and asset management.
ABAX responsible procurement focusing on circular economy
Circular economic principles are at the core of new processes designed to increase the reuse of ABAX hardware. This project instils sustainable thinking across departments and requires managers to step out of the norm and approach hardware management differently.
